It never rains, it pours

After two and a half years without a professional job, I confirmed that I will join the public service as of next year. A national holiday should be declared to celebrate the fact.
This comes four days after I started a new job, whilst keeping the old one. As a result, I am currently doing 50 hours a week in two jobs. That might not sound like a lot but I have to come home to into my change uniform for the afternoon job between the two and means I am not really home for about 13.5 hours a day. No wonder there is a pile of dishes in the sink. I like the new job however.
So in conclusion, it never rains it pours. Plus there is still a job which I went for the interview last week hanging in the wind at moment. If I get an offer for take one, I think we have a flood.
