Why does it always happen at once?

One of my friend's from high school died on the weekend. I hadn't seen him in a couple of years but we had always been good mates. We did a lot together. He was always sick since about 11 because of Fredickard's Ataxia and we had always known he would died young. But it is kind of a shock when it happens. Sorry goodbye my old mate. So long.

This comes on top of the girl I picked up last week coming down with Menigicocol and end up in hospital. I hadn't picked up in over 3 years and the time I do I end needing to go to the doctors about it. That is something that could only really happen to me.

Been Busy

I have been busy over the last few days. Well, busy may not be the best way of describing it. Just work, cricket, strange 18 year old girls.... My life gets stranger every day. My works of fiction are not as odd as my really life.

JFK computer game

So there is this computer game where you get to take three shots at JFK as he drives around Dallas from where Lee Havery Oswall was supposely taking his pot shots from. The makers claim that it shows that three shots could have been fired by him to kill JFK. But I think the markers of the game have missed the point. Most of the witnesses said they heard more than three shots and therefore Oswall could not have been the lone gunman.

The movie "JFK" goes over this in great detail. Remember the magically third bullet which went on a Cook's tour of JFK body. Just because of this I am going to walk down to the video shop and hire a copy. The problem will be it will be on video and I have only got a DVD player.

What would have made the game more fun would be to have a few shots from the grassy knoll. And you could have had it in multiplayer format.

A mug's game

Having just spent time back up on the farm I grew up on, I have to say I still feel farming is a mug's game. Not many other industries rely so heavily on the weather. Tourism does to an extent but only in farming can loss a years worth of work because it just doesn't rain or it rains at the wrong time. And then when you get good conditions so does everybody else and so your prices go through the floor.

Also you are at the bottom of the food chain. You only have to look at the Coles Ad's where Maggie Doyle talks to the store manager about how they kept the price so low by working with the farms. Pigs arse they are working with the farmers, more like screwing them to a lower price.

Spencer Street Station

I got in on the bus this afternoon to Spencer Street. Well, actually it wasn't Spencer Street but about 400 metres away. Anyway, what I meant was the station is a mess. I know it is being rebuilt and will look great when it is done (I believe that it might actually be a brand new landmark on the scale of the Sydney Opera House), but something has to be done about getting people around whilst it is being built. There was nobody to ask at the bus terminal where to go, so if I was not used to getting around Melbourne I would have been stuffed.

I'm back

I am now back in Melbourne and therefore able to use my computer. Thus I can start to post for real. So bring it on.

Paris Hilton

Is it just me or is that Paris Hilton is not really that hot? All the newspapers and television shows make out like she is the greatest gift to males the world over. But in reality, all she has going for her is that she is loaded (with money that is) and she likes a good root. Yet, other than that I don't really find her that good at all.

This is coming from the guy who said what he looks for in women is two x chromosomes.

Welcome and hang on...

I have just started this blog so that I can post random stuff that comes to mind and then others can bag the shit out of my ideas. However, I am going interstate for a week tomorrow so anyone who is hoping for an interesting post in the next few days is out of luck. Not that anyone is going to read this. But if you do, come back in a week and then annoy me.
